Windows XP Corp from my University

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I´ve got a xp corp copied from my university, at installation

there is no cd key window, only a license agreement.

Somebody who autodescribes himself as a microsoft employee

told me that in 30 days my copy would have to be verified as

a corp version with a corp code or something...

What do you know about this? Is this copy of a real corporate version

only for 30 days?

Greetings

You will have to put in a VLK (Volume License Key) which should have been given to you by your university. You will not have to deal with WPA though.

BTW--have you completely installed this version on your computer?

It depends on their deployment method, but likely, you were given a custom made CD with their VLK already entered. Check the deployment sections of the XP Professional site, it goes into thevarious methods of deployment.
