Autologon

Featured Replies

Hello anybody :hello:

I use RIS service to deploy windowsXPSP2.

I need to make automatically log on (by domain admin account) after Windows XP SP2 installation.

Any ideas ???

Thanks.

On a WinXP box:

HKEY\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

AltDefaultDomainName

AltDefaultUserName

AltDefaultPassword

or

DefaultDomainName

DefaultUserName

DefaultPassword

AutoAdminLogon

AutoLogonCount

I think these are the values that u are looking for.. combine them and u will see

that it works like a charm... :) Check your ref.chm and deploy.chm for more info.
