CoRruPt- Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 (edited) Well, I'm planning to attempt a DIY to make a bootable DVD with only one OS (XP SP2) and some customized apps to minimize disk switching. I've read the resourceful guide, but I noticed that it only covers SP1.If I'm doing the multi-boot DVD for SP2, is there anything I should be aware of when I'm making it (ie - anything I should do differently than what the guide says)? Also, I'm trying to do this from XP SP1 (but I do have the XP disc with SP2 slipstreamed, just haven't bothered to install it now that I'm bothered with this ), so do I do anything different than a user trying to make a DVD from SP2? Lastly, can I burn this on a DVD+RW (because I'll most likely make mistakes?).Thanks in advance. Edited October 16, 2005 by CoRruPt-
CptMurphy Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 (edited) There should be no diff. with multibooting XP/SP2. Only thing is to also include the win51ip.SP2 in addition to the WIN51 and WIN51IP files to root. As for the DVD+RW, also shouldn't be a prob, but if there is, rejoice in the fact that it's fixable.
