Hello

I have a problem with my new Boot Screen.

In safe mode I replace the ntoskrnl.exe and the computer reboots OK. I can see my new Boot Screen and all goes well.

But after a while Microsoft Update informs me that I have a new hotfix for download (the KB890859) which I already have in my system. If I allow it to download and install, after rebooting I get the standard Windows Boot Screen (the hotfix changes the ntoskrnl.exe).

What is happening? I don't want to live with a yellow reminder icon in the taskbar!

If someone knows the answer I will appreciate the help.

You'll probably have to recreate the boot screen after installing the hotfix. Either that or use BootSkin which is independent from the system files.

Can someone HELP me?

I am trying to make my Boot Screen look like the one post-92414-1167939616_thumb.jpg, but when Windows is booting up it is showing up as these LAST_SESSION.INI with distorted colors. Which file I need to edit in the Windows XP Pro CD and what do I need to do to correct this problem?
