rikgale Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Having tried to removed 16Bit support from XP using nlite and then use ProtectUA and have it fail, I realised the pkunzip.exe is a 16bit program. Instead of adding 16bit support back in, pkunzip had to go. It has been replaced using 7za.exe from http://www.7-zip.org/. The ProtectUA guide can still be used and it can be found here. Do NOT use the files posted at the bottom, go to http://www.thethirdrow.plus.com/files/Protection32bit.zip to download the latest. Follow the guide but where ever pkunzip is mentioned use 7za.exe in its place, otherwise everything is the same.Martin Z, kindly let me mode his code, and I eventaully got it working after about 20 test installs and a lot of head banging.
