Maxthon 1.5.0 build 95

Featured Replies

Maxthon 1.5.0 build 95 was released on 5 Oct 2005

Maxthon (formerly MyIE2) (pronounced "max-ton") is a powerful web browser for Windows. Maxthon seeks to provide all of the features of Opera and other feature-rich browsers, but without losing any of the compatibility of Internet Explorer. It competes directly with Avant Browser and other Internet Explorer shells. Maxthon offers several enhancements (see features list below) over Internet Explorer, but still uses Internet Explorer's Trident layout engine and is subject to the advantages and disadvantages of that engine. Maxthon is based on the Internet Explorer engine which means that what works in IE, works the same in Maxthon but with many additional efficient features like Tabbed Browsing Interface; Mouse Gestures; Super Drag&Drop; Privacy Protection; AD Hunter; Google Bar Support; External Utility Bar; Skinning and more.
