Meesage Forwarding in Outlook

Hi;

I just noticed a situation with Outlook today, that I've never seen before. When forwarding a message, the original message disappears from the inbox, and only shows up as a sent message. It does not appear in the delete file either. I use outlook at work....and it doesn't happen there, and I haven't noticed it a home either until today. What gives?

You are probably using a custom view. Make sure you are viewing all messages.

Check:

View --> Current View --> View all messgaes.

I checked out your suggestion, but my view settings are the same as at work, and it doesn't havppen there. "Messages" is checked in view. I've also scanned for spyware and viruses, just in case, but it appears clean!

Any other suggestion?

does you have any rules in your outlook definied ?

try some of these outlook switches

outlook.exe /cleanrules

outlook.exe /cleanviews

outlook.exe /resetfolders

make an copy of your outlook profile and your pst's before do something.

what outlook version you use ? with exchange server ?
