LiVeWiRe Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Hi allI was installing a system to a Domaim, for some reason it didn't pick up the domain and asked me to enter a user name for the XP install. I simply entered 'Fred' as I would be deleting the profile later when I connect the PC to the domain.In doing this, it has now put 'Fred' as registered to, under properties in My Comp.I was wondering is there anyway of changing this?Many Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nmX.Memnoch Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 You can change that in the registry at the following key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersionJust change the RegisteredOwner and RegisteredOrganization values.
