Changing the Registered To in XP

Hi all

I was installing a system to a Domaim, for some reason it didn't pick up the domain and asked me to enter a user name for the XP install. I simply entered 'Fred' as I would be deleting the profile later when I connect the PC to the domain.

In doing this, it has now put 'Fred' as registered to, under properties in My Comp.

I was wondering is there anyway of changing this?

You can change that in the registry at the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

Just change the RegisteredOwner and RegisteredOrganization values.
