Anyone know what C:\$UpCase is?? I know its a hidden file of some sort. Maybe a temp dir for something? The past few times I've defragged this comes up as being the most fragmented file. I have a D:\ partition as well and it comes up as D:\$UpCase. :blink: Any ideas?

I believe its a part of the MFT that has all the files on a volume's names in uppercase... for compatibility, or something.

Hmmm... alright, that'd make sense. I just figured if everyone had it I'd be able to find it on Google ya know.
