Internet Explorer

Hello,

Recently I noticed that my internet connection (LAN) is very very slow.

I ran Bit Defender, Norton, Spybot, Adaware but no virus was detected.

I contacted my internet provider and after some testings he pointed out that my browser is corrupt.

I tried to delete the explorer map (C/ Program Files) but I always get the message "can't remove this map".

How can I remove the corrupt brower and install a new explorer?

Or what should I do to get a proper internet connection?

I'm running Windows XP on a Acer Travelmate laptop.

Thanx

:hello:

run:

sfc /scannow

this should 'replace' your explorer and other critical files to their original ones.

Make sure you have XP SP2 CD at hand.
