when i installed XP I have the message :

usbehci.sys is damagaged

i ve integrated the SP in my CD, and the file is on the SP2, where I can find a great file?

ok, but why this file is damaged because the pack was downloaded from the microsoft's server??

I downloaded the file, and, I rename to usbehci.sy_ like other the files...

I change the files, and, always the same error...

You can't just rename to sy_ extension, that won't work. You have two options.

Leave it as .sys extension in 1386 folder or compress it with makecab to sy_. For ease of use you can just leave it .sys.

I have find in a forum that this message arrive with the DELL OEM CDs, and I have a DELL OEM CD :D

This might not be the preferred solution but you can download a copy of windows off the internet or get one from somebody you know and then use your cd key on it. :blushing:

but i can use my cd key on his copy...

If it's the same version of windows then yes. i.e. if you have a key for professional edition then it will work on professional, but not home...
