Davor
You probably removed something you shouldn't have ...See if service is disabled.

oioldman
seems to me you may have accidently removed when using nlite.I don't use it, though a log file may be able to confirm that, or at least doing another build will answer it
shooter468
is there any way i can get it back without doing another build?
Davor
The service is started by this command:C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcsHere is the service info:SERVICE_NAME: themes TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS STATE : 4 RUNNING (STOPPABLE,NOT_PAUSABLE,ACCEPTS_SHUTDOWN) WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) CHECKPOINT : 0x0 WAIT_HINT : 0x0Use the commandline and explore the following tool:sc /?See through the possibilities and try to restore the service.A maybe better option for you is:Install un-lited windows and you will not have such problems in the future.GreetsDavor

Andromeda43
I haven't run nLite yet, because when I tried, it said I needed Dot Net Framework installed. When I did install Dot Net Framework, it screwed up so many things on my PC that I had to do a Ghost Restore and blow it off.So, back to the topic of "Themes".....If I actually ever did get nLite to work,,,,themes would be one of the first things to GO.I already have Disabled it, but it's just another piece of C.R.A.P. and should be totally removed anyway. If its already Gone, count your blessings and leave it gone.Take that from the "Voice of Experience".Cheers,Andromeda43
