Windows Xp restart every x hours!

Hi there.. i have a problem here.. i have just made a fresh install of Windows XP yesterday, but dont know whats happening now that every n hours it restarts alone, and give no alerts or some kind of info.. is like when you press the reset button.. what can be happening?

The applications running normally are Winamp 5.1 , Textpad 4.7.3 , Sql Yog , IE6 , Outlook and the normal windows processes (i supposed)

untick Automatically restart

Now at least you might get a blue screen with a memory error or harddisk error.

have you seen it restart? maybe you've got the ms blaster worm where it says something like "restarting in 60 seconds"

Yeah.. the machine has restarted while i was working... no alert like ther worm blaster... ok.. i changed the settings as you say.. lets see what happens..
