Redundant files?! How can this be?!

Hi all. I have XiSOs release of the 11in1 win xp SP2 iso. I was looking at it for examples on how to create my own Multi-Boot DVD. I really like what they did with it, but I notice dsomething odd. The filesystem seems to have more files than the original *.iso file. What I mean is, there are 11 copies of windows XP PLUS about 11 utility CDs ( Like Partition Magic, Ghost and others ). When I grab my DVD and copy it's contents over to my HD, it's literrally over 6Gigs. The ISO I have and use to burn the file (the 11in1) is only 1g flat. How can that be? I started to wonder if there was a way to give 1 set of files (like the i386 files) redundant path names. Anotherwords, can it be that there is only one set of i386 files and that the file system is simply giving it multiple directories? It is NOT being done through the same directory though, because there are different folders for all the different OS installs. Someone please shed some light on this for me. It is confusing the hell out of me. Thanks in advance.

the iso file would of been optimised so then multiple windows versions would fit on a disc

Thanks for the link, I am now following the tutorial and making my first CD. I see nothing on there that says how to "optimise the ISO file so that multiple windows version will fit." Please advise. Thanks.
