files copy when i move from hdd to hdd

i have multiple partitions and when i want to move a file from 1 part to the other, the file just ends up copying itself to the 2nd part, but i want to move it so that its not on the 1st part. i know i can just cut and paste or delete the file after it has copied but is there some regtweak for this b/c i just want to drag and drop?

Use the right mouse button when dragging and you will have the option to copy or move.

i no but i dont want to have to do that, i just want to drag and drop

ripken204, open two copies of Explorer - for 1 part in one and 2 part in another - and use `drag-n-drop`.
