HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!

OK-I did the safe mode for services.msc per Vipers suggestion. My computer is now acting very funny, tons and tons of pop ups, locks up in certain things so......I thought I would just go back and reset the settings as they were before but....when I try to go to services.msc, it gives me an error message and I can't get into it. I also thought then I would go to system restore but that gives me an error message also. Now what? Oh, if I go to system restore through the "Start, Programs way" I can get there but there is no restore point (date) to pick--I have always had restore dates I could pick to solve a lot of issues.

Any clues--now I am basically cimputerless and working on my wifes laptop to get this message in here!

what did you do with services.msc... if you turned off the help and support service or system restore service then you wont get any restore dates and it may act funny. .

I dont know viper nor do i know where to find the post of what he told you to do. Please explain and we may be able to give you more help
