I am trying to open a ppt file and when my powerpoint 2003 pops up it says that the file cannot be read. I downloaded the 2003 viewer from microsoft and it opened up the file but I cannot print slides (3 frames per page) because there is only a print single frame option. How can I get this file to open in my regular powerpoint program so I can print these out the right way?

is there any way to determine what version of power point it was created in. Office 2003 is not as backwards compatible as one would hope with the older versions of office
