prey
HiWindows XP cannot detect your VMWare SCSI disk, you will need to download the VMWare SCSI driver from VMWare homepage. If you choose to configure your Virtual machine with IDE, it will not be a problem.I know that this driver is available because its also an issue on the VMWare ESX server.Kind Regards.Marin AndersenEDIT:I foundt the location for you..http://www.vmware.com/download/downloadscsi.html Edited January 3, 2006 by prey

dkb
Hi Andersen,I have configured my floopy using the SCSI Disk Driver "vmscsi-1.2.0.2.flp" ()From the start of the installation, I pressed F6 to install the SCSI Driver & RAID... (or something like that), and also the supplementary VMWareSCSI Dirver (I think )But still got the same problem: I don't know how to make it work...Thanks again, preyRegards, khoa Edited September 7, 2005 by dkb
prey
Hi!I just tried it on my own VMWareRight at the beginning of the blue setup screen press "F6" to specify additional driver.Later when requested press "S" to specify SCSI drivers. If the floppy image is loaded in you VMW setup correctly, it will immediately show "VMWare SCSI"Press Enter, and you will now be able to partition and format you disc(s).If you are not presented with the above, it could be due to the automated installation process that runs when the CD is Unattended - I have personally seen that before.Try switching to IDE disc instead, or try to incorporate the VMWare SCSI driver in you ISO, so that it will load automatically.I f anyone is reading this, and have a suggestion how to do the last part, please post it here.Again - I DID make it work, so maybe jus try fiddling around with it some more... Kind Regards.Martin Andersen

Does my PC have problem?Maybe I should change to your method:Try switching to IDE disc instead, or try to incorporate the VMWare SCSI driver in you ISO, so that it will load automatically.but I don't know how.....
