windows shell enhancement

I was wondering if anyone knows of an addon to the windows shell that will provide a run box or bash command box that will be suppressed on the wallpaper/desktop. I don't want it to be on top of windows like the GO shell. I was able to do thie type thing in a shell replacement before like litestep, but I am too adapted to the typical look and feel of the windows classic shell. I use the run box alot, but to have this always showing with cursor stealing focus when desktop is showing would be excellent!

I found eConsole, but if I do a show desktop or winkey+D then the window is minimized (even though the glue to desktop is enabled). This is an idea to what I'm kind of looking for though; I haven't figured out if custom commands can be written for this or not.
