SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW login times

I have a LAN with 2 machines (test till i move the DC to its new location) the Workstation on the switch with the server logs in, but takes for EVER.. no roaming profiles etc , just domain authication..

But i haven't setup DNS, its just 2 computers and 1 switch. no internet on this net.

Would that be the reason?

Once its on the internet, this will be the DNS server for its local LAN.

**UPDATE**

FIXED, i wasn't assigning the DNS server, or the DNS suffix (ip of server)..

Now fast logins!
