Good old web view

I have a question that kept me from upgrading 2k to XP in my home computer for quite a long time. I know that in XP, viewing folders like Web Pages has been replaced with that Left Panel full of common tasks. The problem is: I siumply want my old informative panel there, I trully like it and I never use the XP left panel in my work pc... I know I can simple disable it and go back to the classic style, but then I lose the picture preview and my custom http templates for music and video folders.

Is there any way to change just this aspect of the XP interface? I know already how to change for a single folder (by manually editing the desktop.ini file), but how to go back everything? maybe replacing the DLL reponsable of that with the older form 2k and register it?
