MHz Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 (edited) Get the msi files from the folder in the windows directory, then use a admin install on them. Example: "msiexec /a file.msi" to retrieve the files.I use these:Background switcher.BgSwitch.dllBGSwitch.exeMagnifier.Mag.dllVirtual Desktop.Msvdm.dllImage resizer.PhotoToys.dll Edited September 1, 2005 by MHz

I can't found anything.Regardscoucou Edited September 1, 2005 by coucou
MHz Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Just use Regsvr32 on the self registering dlls. Some of the powertoys are not as user friendly to setup. The ones I list are simple. Just add to $$ folder and register them later in windows setup.
coucou Posted September 1, 2005 Author Posted September 1, 2005 May be is my fault, but i think there is a misunderstanding. As you spook about "msi files are cached in a folder in the windows directory", " Regsvr32 on the self registering dlls" and "add to $$ folder and register them later in windows setup". I'm NOT looking for an UNattended installation!!!The powertoys are already installed!!!, i'm looking for using them. I found the TweakUI and the Magnifier shortlinks enabling me launching/using them while I can't found the ImageResizer, Slideshow, HTMLSlideShow and Timershot shortlinks.Regardscoucou
ender341 Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 i think they are add-ons for the fax & photo viewer
