Diehardcamper Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Years ago I removed Fax Console using the add/remove programs. I recently purchased a scanner/fax/copier/printer and I would like to recieve faxes through that. It stated I have to enable the Fax Console in XP to receive faxes. But I removed it. Is there anyway to reinstall it off of the restore disck or is there a website where I can download it? Thanks all for your help--new to the forum!
chilifrei64 Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Just go back to the same spot that you removed it from. Add or Remove Programs -> Add or Remove Components -> Check "Fax Services" and hit nextonce that is done. Open the printers folder and right click in a blank area and select "Set Up Faxing"Go through the wizard and you will be all set
