i have used the latest version of NLITE to make my latest xp unattended slipstream/install

when it hits the "registering components" area i get the following error

windows media player 9 series

"system restore is turned off or disabled on this computer" it forces me to hit the ok button. how do i get around this ?

so i dont have to hit anything for xp to install automatically ?

I get this, as I have disabled System Restore... I dont know if there is a workaround, other than to enable System Resotre, until you are happy with your setup...

I assume you must have uninstalled/disabled it using nlite...

if you don't mind having WMP 10

Goto Here, someone has compiled WMP10 and all the addons for it, into a slipstream install...

download that, and use it instead of the WMP.exe install file...
