I need help with HP Scanjet Drivers

I have all the drivers I need for my machine set up using the WINNT.sif method except the drivers for my scanner. I have an HP Scanjet 3970, and I was hoping to install just the drivers. I located the .inf, but it wants to install all sorts of crap (the HP software) and I get errors because things aren't where it seems to want them.

Has anyone been able to isolate just the drivers without the bloat? I'd really like to get this last one on my install disk.

1. Install the HP Scanner software for your 3970

2. get the .inf file

3. find all the files in the [sourceDisksFiles] section of the .inf file

4. put them together with the .inf file in the same directory

This way it works with Scanjet 7400 and Scanjet 8200

Thanks Schalti I managed to round all of them up, and will test it later. This will make my installing a breeze
