Windows Updates

When windows downloads updates via automatic updates and the option is set not to install until you tell it to, where does it put the updates ?

Is there a way to get to them so I could have them to put on my unattended CD instaed of having to download them manually ?

I think that they're in the hidden C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate folder.

Why not just slipstream the updates onto the CD so that you won't have install them later?

The reason is becasue I lost them all ! So instead of having to download them one by one I could let Windows Upadte do it for me.

wrong! updates r going to SystemDrive:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download. this only for xp with sp2....
