KBDUS.dll problems possibly linked to sata drivers

I have done a few unnattended setups before and they have been fine.

Today i got a sata drive for my AN8 Ultra and have been trying to install windows on it.

I made a SP2 cd with the nvatabus drivers as shown here

It goes ok but every now and then a box comes up telling me that a windows system file has been replaced, insert xp cd to fix it. I do this but it keeps on coming back.

Then windows takes ages on the blue bar boot up stage and when it finally gets past that i just get a black screen with a message box to the effect of "KBDUS.dll corrupted" and it goes no further. I tried copying the file back under safe mode but it still doesnt work.

I reformatted again and exactly the same thing happened!

It seemed to be after i installed battlefield 2 but that might not have been it...

Hope someone can help me

Did you download the nforce3 drivers instead of the nforce4 ones?

I use that method on an nforce3 board and it works for me.

And if your using raid you need to integrate nvraid all so.

I downloaded nForce4_amd_6.66_winxp2k_international.

I think that somehow i have got a virus as i just had the RPC shutdown timer come on (manage to boot from last known good configuration).

Bit odd...
