IE6 and Microsoft Script Editor 7 issue

Hello all,

New to this forum, lookin good!

I hope this is the appropriate category.

My issue:

I am running xphome with sp2 and ie6

i also have office xppro v2002 installed with the html tools script editor.

problem is, i have script notifications turned on in ie and debugging enabled, but when i go to view->script debugger->open, nothing happens.

this is frustrating the crapola out of me.

anyone had a similar problem, or any suggestions?

I found it anyway, i just had to keep digging a bit. Turns out there is a service on the local machine called "machine debug manager" that i had disabled. Too much time mucking around in msconfig i guess
