ZileXa Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 (edited) OR you could manually install them (silently ofcourse) by registering with the .inf file,I don't know the normal way to do this, but if you run your RunOnceEx at T12 like me, than this (the .inf method) is the best way:REG ADD %KEY%\021 /VE /D "Codecs" /fREG ADD %KEY%\021 /V 1 /D "rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 128 %CDDRIVE%InstallApps\Codecs\huffyuv.inf" /fREG ADD %KEY%\021 /V 2 /D "rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 128 %CDDRIVE%InstallApps\Codecs\xvid.inf" /fin this example, Huffyuv encoder (best AVI lossless encoder) and Xvid encoder are installed, the files xvidvfw.dll and xvidcore.dll are in my $$/System32 folder, and the xvid.inf file is in my InstallApps folder (where all my setupfiles are).I don't need decoders to be installed, so no crazy codecpacks for me, I just use ffdshow. So only thing that has to be done if you want to silently install codecs is:1. place the .dll files in system322. install using the .inf file Edited August 9, 2005 by ZileXa
