francis Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 All emails to certain accounts come with the "on behalf of" in the From field.Example: "<pop server address> on behalf of <Sender name> [sender address]"The "<pop server address> on behalf of " does not belong there and should not appear. The same account config does not display this junk in Outlook Express, and I am not using Exchange. How do I prevent that "on behalf of" junk to appear? A Google search didn't return any info on this, can anyone help? Thanks!Francis
BlackNGold72 Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 What version of outlook? And is it when you are sending the emails or recieving? If it is when you are recieving then the issue is not on your end but rather the sending parties account, it could be they may actually have that feature turned on or may be using exchange and need to apply the hot fix that removes this issue.Craig
liquidplasmaflow Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 No, because OE doesn't do it. Did you check to see if there was a message filter or rule set in Outlook that does this?
