ilocanka Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Hi,I was wondering if anyone can help with this issue. I bought "Learn Spanish" CD that can be run on windows 95/98 and thought that it would work fine on my XP. I keep getting message "16 bit Windows subsystem, the NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction" then there is more codes and it tells me to close it.I took it back to the computer shop and when run on their XP it worked fine.Do I need to download something to make it work?Help very much appreciated as I am clueless at this point.Thank you
chilifrei64 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Have you tried running the software in compatibility mode for windows 95/98?
