berrick Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 I'm installing ATi driver during my uacd install using RunOnceEx method but i seem not able to get round the problem of the Driver signature message and having to press enter to ignore. Is there a way of a silent install using this method that gets round this without getting certified drivers??many thanks
TwoWarriors Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 You can use Bâshrat the Sneaky Driverpacks.http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=88orhttp://www.btsunattended.net/Projects/DriverPacks/All the info is there.
berrick Posted July 31, 2005 Author Posted July 31, 2005 Thnxs for the reply, i'd already been there but i need to understand how to stop this message box poping up during uscd installs.Unfortunately space on the disk is a premium, therefore dont have room for his hard work
oioldman Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 make sure your winnt.sif hasdriverpolicy=ignorecommand in it, otherwise you will be asked to sign. When finished reset it back to warn or whatever.Found in control panel | system | hardware | driver signing
berrick Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 thnxs for reply,It is set that way in winnt.sif.But i'm of the opinion now that the installshield installation is overriding these and other settings
