First time install

I just built my computer and it has no OS on it, but my xp cd is not bootable with it. I tried to make it boot from cd and that doesnt help it.

Does this make it so that I can boot it from a computer with no OS? I don't have a floppy drive, but if I have to get one then I will.

First thing do you know if the CD will boot on another computer?

You only need the floppy if you have mass storage drivers that need

to be installed with the F6 method. But getting one wouldn't solve

your not booting from CD problem.

Do you see any thing on the screen when you try to boot from the CD?

Does the light on the drive go on? Try the other cd drive if you have

more than 1.
