ok when i installed my hd into a brand new system that had xp pro and i get this error how do i fix it

check the manufacturer of your motherboards website(I am assuming it is an onboard IDE controller) and see if they have updated drivers, Unfortunately, some manufactuer DO ship parts that do not have working drivers included with them.

If it is a secondary IDE controller or add on IDE controller... same rules apply.. Check the manufacturers website for update drivers

all my ide is working i jusget that error should i try to unistall it

Check your device manger for flagged devices. What does your bios list?

I think those are the wrong drivers.
