Windows Media Centre Edition - Watching TV?

Featured Replies

I have a TV Tuner on my laptop which is Toshiba Satellite P20-521 (which I got with it when I purchased it) were I can plug by TV cable into the tuner and watch terrestrial TV normally.

What I want to know is, is there anyway to watch Freeview on my laptop? I have a Freeview box.

Its just one of those coxial plugs were I plug my TV signal into like I do with my television.

My freeview box and video is wired up to my TV so I only have to press the AV button on my remote to access it. So I have just plugged it into my laptop without altering the connections, but I cant seem to access the AV channel on Media Center :(

Quick replies appreciated.

Regards,

Martyn

Might be a stupid question, but will it work on Channel 3 or 4 like a VCR? On my Hauppage TV card, that is what I have to do for recording from my VCR into digital format b4 burning onto dvd. Hope that might spark an ideal 4 you
