How to use remote shutdown.exe

Hello all! I'm trying to use remote shutdown tool in windows xp 'shutdown.exe' but it doesnt work even if im logged in as administrator in local computer. I try to execute shutdown -s -m \\computername -t 03 and an error occurs which says 'ACCESS DENIED'. How can I fix this error. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks alot to all members.

If your target computer is using XP, you needed to add your user account and same password like what you have in computer 1 into target system.
