Problems installing raid drivers on xp install

i have just purchased a machine from Novatech, it had a foxconn 6497mb mobo, i am trying to install sis964 raid drivers whilst doing a fresh install of xp

i start install, press f6, then press s to say i want to add raid drivers, it carries on reading from the floppy disc, then i come to the partitioning bit and that goes fine, then i get a message saying "setup cannot copy the file sisraid.sys", if i skip this it then says it cannot find the other 5 or so files on the floppy disc, this in turn meand that xp will not install.

i have tried copying the files from the mobo setup disc but i get a message saying "cannot find oem text file"

i have read numerous things on forums but nothing seems simple and nothing is working,

please can somebody help me as this is now becoming rather frustrating

is sisraid.sys one of the files for your RAID card or not...

is this a modified cd? or are you trying to do unattended?

-copy cd win xp to hdd in folder xpcd (by example).

You have D:\XPCD, who to contains i386 and other folders.

-edit file txtsetup.sif i386 ( by cd with winxp.)

Add to end a record of type :

This add before character EOF(end of file) .

-copy files si3112.sys and si3112r.sys from floppy to folder of HDD.

and execute

makecab si3112.sys si3112.sy_

makecab si3112r.sys si3112r.sy_

Copy si3112.sy_ si si3112r.sy_ in foder i386

- nero, New compilation CDROM (boot).

Of section boot select Image file (here use my image attachement)

Activate Enable expert settings:

Kind of emulation -> No emulation

...

...

Number of loaded sectors -> 4 (foarte important!!!)

New: Add body of foder xpcd and burn.
