Version: 2.0.5.4

Description
-=-=-=-=-=-

A minimalist version of Apache, which is
officially the most popular web server
software in the world.

Also included in this version is the PHP
scripting engine version 5.0.4 and the
MySQL Database engine version 4.1.12a.

Additional features for Apache include
eAccelerator (a handy program for caching
files used by PHP) and mod_bandwidth,
which allows you to control the server
bandwidth by site, user, file, or file
size.

Instructions
-=-=-=-=-=-=

1. Extract all of the files in this RAR to
the root of drive C: on your system.
You could use a different folder, but
that would mean extra editing of the
   httpd.conf file afterwards.

2. Goto where you extracted the files to,
browse into the /conf directory and open
the httpd.conf file with your favourite
   text editor.

Read the comments there and customize it
   to your needs.

3. Go back to the main directory (c:\web)
and run the "Install Service.cmd" batch
   file.

4. Open your favourite Web browser and point
   it to:

   http://127.0.0.1/

You should see a screen showing the output
   of phpinfo()!

Notes
-=-=-
Directories are scattered throughout httpd.conf,
but they are all at the top of php.ini. Once
installed as a service, you must start and
stop Mini_MySQL4 (start->run->services.msc).
It will hang, you must press ctrl+alt+del and
shut it down manually. This is because it
creates 20MB worth of extra files. This is not
a problem on subsequent runs.

Thanks Expert & Jim. I use XAMPP for local development, but most of the 200+ MB just sits there. I will try this next time I do an install. It has everything I use.
