Oracle Pro Installation on winXP pro

when i am trying to install oracle 8 pro it is not installing on windows xp pro

in the half way it breaks the installation while Analysing SQL*NET.

what should i do.

oracle can be installed on xp or not plz tell me

What Version of Oracle are you running?
