July 14, 200521 yr Hi,would like to find out how do I make the colors on the desktop icon wordings invincible "dissapear".Thanks.
July 14, 200521 yr you can use a program called d-color (or is it d-colour)run it, and there should be an small monitor type icon in your system tray... right click on that, and configure the colours of the icons to transparent
July 14, 200521 yr Or... you can use Windows' built in settings.Right-click My Computer->Properties->Advanced->Settings (under Performance)->Checkmark beside Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktopThat should do the trick. If it's already checked, uncheck it, click OK to get out of the menus, and then re-check it. Sometimes Windows needs a good kick in the pants.
