hmoner
Hi guysI've done a slipstreamed CD of Windows 2000 ADV_SRV with SP4I've read one sticky thread, and downloaded some 41 patches (however, one patch, which i don't remember now, gave me error @ M$ website)Well, Now that I've this CD with SP4 merged, I'd like to know what to do with this patches...I got 2 svcpack.inf files...One, which contains all the batches to be run, and this:Update Rollup 1.exe /passive /norestart /quietI won't use this, because UpdateRollup1 is available only in English, so that's why i had to get all the 41 patches.. Now...1) Could some1 tell me if this svcpack.inf file is OK for W2K SPANISH ?Note: All the patches I got, are in spanish [Version]Signature="$Windows NT$"MajorVersion=5MinorVersion=0BuildNumber=2195 [SetupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\svcpack"[SetupHotfixesToRun]ie6setup.exe /Q:A /R:Nsetup_wm.exe /Q:A /R:NKB329115.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB823182.exe -u -z -qKB823559.exe -u -z -qKB824105.exe -u -z -qKB825119.exe -u -z -qKB826232.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB828026.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB828035.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB828741.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB828749.exe /passive /norestart /quiet"KB832483.exe /C:""dahotfix.exe /q /n"" /q:a"KB833989.exe /Q:A /R:NKB835732.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB837001.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB839645.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB840315.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB840987.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB841356.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB841533.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB841872.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB841873.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB842526.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB842773.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB870669.exe /Q:A /R:NKB867282.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB871250.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB873333.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB873339.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB873374.exe /Q:A /R:NKB885835.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB885836.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB885250.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB885492.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB888113.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB890047.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB890175.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB890859.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB890923.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB891711.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB891781.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB893066.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB893086.exe /passive /norestart /quietKB893803.exe /passive /norestart /quietqchain.exe[ProductCatalogsToInstall]2) I learn that all the renamed KB*** must go in CatalogSubDir="\i386\svcpack", but Where should I place this svcpack.inf file ? I386 ?3) I made an "EXTRA" folder in ISO image and I placed there the Directx, .Net FrameWork, Messenger, IE6SP1, WindowsMedia, etc. Is there another thing I should do before burning everything ?For example, make IE6SP1 to be run in win2k install (so some newer patches are applied to it correctly) ... If so, HOW ?Thanks a lot for helping... Hope you answer...
