Cookstbw Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 When an application is configured to run at startup, via the Environment tab of a active directory user, the session closes automatically when the application is closed. When I configure an application to run by putting it into the RDP icon, the session remains open after closing the application. Is there anyway to make the session close automatically after the application is closed when configuring the application to run using the RDP icon?Or can you configure a server to not allow disconnected sessions? Closing disconnected sessions after one minute is the closest thing I have found to eliminating disconnected sessions.Thank You
chilifrei64 Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Start -> run -> tscc.msc (or Terminal Services Configuration/Connections) Select your connection (Default:RDP-tcp) and select the Enviroment Tab. Add your application there and it will have the same effect. This is for Windows Server 2003.... I do not have a 2000 Terminal Server to validate this true on 2000 Terminal Server. If my memory serves me correct... it does...
