I have a new system I'm building up with the 120 day Business evaluation kit, XP Pro which is good for 120 days. It llooks good and I want to keep it, what do I do to keep the system going after the 120 days are up? Can I purchase the Upgrade version or do I need a full or OEM version to activate it forever?

Also, I have the office XP 30 day installed and it won't take service packs or download updates. Any reason for this?

I think you can probably contact Micro$oft for a product key, and tell them that you would like to purchase it, etc, etc...

if you don't have a previous version of windows "ex. windows 98, 2000, me" then you will have to purchase full version. If you do own any of the previous operating system you can buy the upgrade version.

As far as office you cant update it because its a trial version.
