Screen Dumps

When performing a screen dump (ALT + PrtScrn) and pasting into Word, the images have started showing up as a blank box with a black border.

If I right-click and go into Edit Picture, then I see the screen print, but as soon as I return to the document, I can only see the outline border and a blank box...

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,

I have seen this too, and I think that it i because Word has problems showing large graphics. A screen dump may be as large as 1600 x 960 in size, and it doesn't show up. (Word's handling of graphics is pretty abysmal).

I would try opening the image in Photoshop or other image editor, and reducing the pixel size of th image.

This usually works for me.

Try this in Word:

Tools --> Options

on View Tab, Show section

Uncheck Picture Placeholders.

click OK
