G52 Posted July 1, 2005 Share Posted July 1, 2005 Hey GangI am a newbie and am having problems installing a specific driver using the winnt.sif method. I am trying to create a non-hardware specific UAXPCD for 4 different HP products (I know Iknow UIU but why buy when you can create) I can not get XP to recognize a LiteOn PCI Serial / Parallel card. when XP finishes setup and I autologon I am presented with exclamation's on the cards . Windows understands what they are but will not set them up correctly. If I delete the misconfigured devices and point the update driver app to the driver folder.
