BIOS question for ID

I want to place in the BIOS (if possible) a 'serial number' to ID that computer as owned by my business. Is that possible? If so, HOW and WHERE?

No its not possible. I think if you REALLY wanted to do this you would have to take apart from actul ship and tinker with some electrical stuff and rewrite the BIOS code to include the new serial number.

Edit: Dells have a splash screen which displays their serial numbers and such, but I'm not aware of how to do this.

Most mainboard manufacturers (if not all) have one included in the BIOS.

It depends on computer. You can use WMI classes to access informations like this
