no, like if they're already logged on. I.E. Someone forgets to log off at night and leaves mas90 or outlook running, I would like the server to run a batch file to close those processes on computers where people didn't log off so it doesn't screw up the backup. I have the batch file made up already.

cant you schedul it to run at a certain time? like 5 minutes before the backup?

if youre using livestate for example it has the option built in to run batch files before and after the backup.

Thats the way I have most of them set up now, I was just wondering if there was a way to run it from the server instead of having to set it up on every computer.
