Super_66 Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 when i try to reinstall Windows XP home edition, an error message pops up stating that i have a newer verion of windows installed??????IM using my WIndows XP Operation SYstem disk to try to reinstall OS??????
rikgale Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 Boot direct from the CDChange the boot order in the BIOS if necessay so that it will boot from the CD and install XP. That way you can format the hard drive and start from a fresh. This is assuming that you want to start a freshWelcome to the forums
