How do i hide the desktop icon

I hided my all icon on desktop, but the desktop folder/explorer can view my icon, how do i hide the main 5 icons: my computer,my documents, my network place ,internet explorer ,recycle bin ???

Even i delete it from desktop file explorer, it will restore automatically

There's no way to get rid of it permanently, it's an integral part of Windows. But you can delete all links to the folder.

Do you want to hide the icons from the desktop? Download TweakUI from Mircosoft and you'll be able to do that.
